Martin Drštička, born in 1971, is a graduate of the Aviation Institute in Brno, majoring in Aircraft Design and Construction.

He started his professional career in the EVEKTOR design office as an aircraft designer. Over time, he worked his way up to the position of chief designer of small sport aircraft, project manager of national and European projects, verifying engineer of GA projects and head of the aviation division of the design office. As a project team leader and chief designer, he has been involved in the implementation of small aircraft development and certification projects such as the EV-97 Eurostar - SportStar, the EV-97 VLA, and the electric powered EPOS aircraft. During his career, he has also worked as a teaching fellow at FME in Brno.

He is one of the founders of New Space Technologies, where he has served as Managing Director and Head of the Unmanned Vehicles Division since its inception. Since 2016, he has been working as project leader of all UAV projects, such as CANTAS Ap or NST-20 TARA. He also acts as chief designer on these projects. Martin Drštička has contributed to strengthening the professional potential of NST with his long experience in the general aviation industry and in the development and operation of flying UAVs.
