New Space Technologies (NST) is proud to announce that the KALAN amphibious platform has successfully passed the first phase of verification tests at the Military Technical Institute (VTU) in Vyškov.
The tests included verification of the curb weight and total weight, which made it Robust structural design of the vehicle confirmed. The KALAN amphibious vehicle went on to undergo tough water navigation tests and a driving test on snowy and paved surfaces.
In part of the cruise tests, the vehicle was subjected to tests for tightness and water propulsion function in real conditions, including ford crossing. The height of the ford level was set at 2.5m. The vehicle has shown tightness to the highest standards and managed to cross the ford with activated water drive.
